Going to the Dogs

This past year has taken me in new directions.  Along with continuing my series work that is based on traditional hand-building pottery techniques and vessel forms, I have decided to revisit my long lost love of sculpture - and my love of dogs.  With no better place to begin than my own pooch, this page will document my journey.  Meet Bella.  She's my furbaby.  Next step is to take on other dogs I know.  If you would like to help me on my journey, I'd be happy to talk with you about modeling your dog. Contact

After firing she's about 14" high. If you know Bella, you know this is her "look".

OK, I'm being silly with the finished sculpture out on the porch. This is one of Bella's favorite hang out spots.
